Program Philosophy

This is not a classroom. It is a small, selective program where you operate inside a real buy-side process. We value independent thinking, clean writing, and composure under ambiguity.

Interns collaborate directly with senior team members on live deal flow, thesis sprints, and targeted diligence. Expect to contribute—not observe.

What You'll Build

Your artifacts are designed to be shown to future employers and investors as verifiable evidence of performance.

Deal Folio

A cohesive package: sector map, target memo, investment thesis, red flags, and value-creation levers.

Financial Model

Driver-based model with sensitivities; unit economics, margins bridge, and returns view.

Draft LOI

Structure, conditions, and rationale aligned to underwriting and risk profile.

Operator Briefs

One-pagers for outreach with crisp problem–solution framing and call scripts.

What You'll Do

Investment Analysis (Buy-Side)

Source targets, screen for quality, build models, support diligence, and draft investment materials for control or co-investment opportunities in industrials and adjacent technologies.

Portfolio & Operator Engagement

Support operating hypotheses, KPI tracking, and value-creation workstreams with management and advisors.

Research & Strategy

Market maps, competitive analysis, moats/risks, and bottom-up thesis development tied to executable next actions.

Professional Reps

Learn capital allocation frameworks, negotiation dynamics, outreach cadences, and meeting hygiene the buy-side way.

Open Roles

Buy-Side Investment Intern

Own a small target set end-to-end: sourcing, initial underwriting, model build, memo writing, and LOI drafting. Ideal for candidates pursuing PE/Private Credit/Independent Sponsor paths.

Core Skills

  • Financial modeling, industry analysis, memo writing, valuation
  • Comfort calling owners and parsing ambiguous financials

Equity Research Analyst Intern

Produce public-comps quality research to inform buy-side theses: unit economics, drivers, risk factors, and variant perception. Package insights into tight briefs for investment decisions.

Core Skills

  • 10-Ks, channel checks, KPI frameworks, concise writing
  • Ability to translate public insights to private-market signals

Business Development Intern

Build the front end of the funnel: lists, owner mapping, first-touch scripts, and nurture cadences. Instrument CRM hygiene and weekly pipeline reporting tied to real outreach.

Core Skills

  • CRM ops, cold outreach, copy, call notes, follow-through
  • Steady temperament and high activity standards

Marketing Intern

Convert firm narrative into credibility assets: one-pagers, case blurbs, site updates, and post-deal summaries. Support campaigns that attract owners, operators, and talent.

Core Skills

  • Content ops, editing, basic HTML/CSS, brand accuracy
  • Analytics and experimentation mindset

Who We're Looking For

Intellectual rigor + practical judgment > pedigree. Prior finance experience is helpful but not required. We care about clear thinking, clear writing, and discretion.

Signals we look for:

  • Structured analysis and clean, defensible assumptions
  • Concise writing and presentation under time pressure
  • Comfort with imperfect data and first-principles reasoning
  • Bias for action, personal accountability, and integrity
  • Professional composure with owners, bankers, and operators

We welcome undergraduates, graduate students, and early-career professionals exploring principal investing.
